As a Logistics Sales Executive for Eagle Express, you're responsible for scouting new business opportunities, speaking to prospects, and growing your book of business. As you meet with clients and prospective shippers, it will be your responsibility to not only secure new shipping contracts, but to represent our company in a manner that will reflect positively on our brand reputation.
Execute research on companies and customers that can benefit from FTL services
Qualify prospects for size, complexity, and overall fit for our infrastructure
Ensure prospect information and customer interactions are documented into the CRM
Schedule and coordinate meetings with prospects to present logistics services
Execute sales process to secure freight from shippers, manufacturers, and freight forwarders
Have strong work ethic and perform job functions at a high level
Have integrity when selling our services
Build rapport with shippers via phone, email, and in-person
Be able to multi-task: make calls, respond to emails, resolve conflicts, and service customers
Be able to think critically and problem solve
Communicate effectively with customers and carriers
5+ years experience in Logistics, Sales, or a related field required
BS/BA in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
2+ years experience working with cloud-based software systems (i.e. Oracle, Salesforce, etc.)
Active customer base preferred
Hours: Full-time (40-50 hours per week)
Location: Field Sales (No Territory Restrictions)
Annual Salary: $80,000 + Bonus
Company Work Station (Laptop, Cell Phone, Marketing Materials, etc.)
