The successful applicant will take over supply chain management duties for the firm and become instrumental in the forward growth of the company. He or she will report directly to the operations manager and will coordinate with many other departments to ensure an efficient daily workflow. Duties

  • Develop a proactive relationship with the assigned customer accounts by resolution of issues and concerns in a timely manner and provide innovative solutions

  • Maintaining profits through strategic negotiations

  • Handle shipment quoting

  • Covering available loads

  • Sending dispatch documents to vendors

  • Track and trace shipments

  • Input/update various files and information into our database

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Word

  • Highly effective communication, both verbal and written

  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer focused

  • Strong work ethic with a self-starter mentality

  • Confident, enthusiastic, and strong negotiator

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, operations, or management preferred

  • 1 year of experience working in customer service or a related field preferred

  • Training on software and platforms provided

  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and performance driven environment

Compensation

  • $18.00/hr
